Author Visits & Book Readings
Raven Tree has long been a haven for writers who draw inspiration from the natural world. We host visiting authors for readings, signings, and conversations — intimate evenings where stories and nature intertwine.
Past guests have included naturalists, wildlife photographers, and regional storytellers. All are welcome, no ticket required.
Guided Nature Walks
Join fellow nature enthusiasts for guided walks through the stunning landscapes surrounding Mount Shasta. Learn to identify local birds by sight and song, spot native wildflowers, and deepen your connection to the wild.
Walks are led by knowledgeable local guides and are suitable for all ages and experience levels.
Children's Nature Workshops
We believe every child deserves to fall in love with the natural world. Our hands-on workshops introduce young minds to birds, bees, plants, and the science of nature through play and discovery.
Workshops are designed for ages 5–12 and run approximately 90 minutes. Space is limited — contact us to reserve a spot.

Over 10 years, Raven Tree has become a gathering place for the Mount Shasta community. We've hosted birding clubs, school groups, senior outings, and solo travelers who wandered in and stayed for hours. Whatever brings you through our door, you're welcome here.
